I have spent days researching looking for reason to never use pokerstars again but the simple truth is I think I’m just having a drawn out downswing and when you have so many bingo fish who really have no clue about poker getting lucky against you it’s only natural to look for someone to blame. Pokerstars are not to blame! They are genuinely a great platform for poker pros and recreational players even the fish it would seem. I have had multiple first places in pokerstars tournaments at low stakes before even really learning how to play the game and the truth is maybe I’m just not as good as I think I am. I have a dream to become a professional and having spent so much time and money to not get to where I want to be has been heartbreaking and has even messed with my mental health but as always I come back better and stronger and I will this time. After over 20 years of loyalty to PokerStars, I’m compelled to speak out due to ongoing and worsening issues that have made the platform nearly unusable — and the lack of response from support has made it even more frustrating. The software has consistently been unstable on macOS for years, regularly freezing and crashing, especially when multi-tabling. These crashes have cost me valuable hands, and even entire tournaments — sometimes involving thousands of dollars. Hoping for better performance, I recently switched to a Windows system. Shockingly, the experience is even worse. During a recent tournament, my cards were invisible — I couldn’t see my hand at all. I reported this immediately and even provided screenshots… and now, five days later, I still haven’t received a single reply. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. This lack of basic customer support is unacceptable. To add insult to injury, deposit issues persist as well. I’ve been unable to deposit over £20 for months, and despite reporting this previously, the issue remains unresolved.
